Warriors' Jonathan Kuminga, Draymond Green remain sidelined with injuries

The Golden State Warriors won't be back to full strength anything soon.

The team announced injury updates to forwards Draymond Green and Jonathan Kuminga on Monday, with neither set to return imminently.

Green has missed the Warriors' last four games due to a calf strain he sustained on Jan. 18 against the Washington Wizards and is now listed as day-to-day. The team said he's progressing well and they expect him to rejoin practice in the coming days as he's been doing "light on-court work."

The four-time champ has suited up 34 times for Golden State this year, averaging 8.4 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists with a steal and a block during that span.

Meanwhile, Kuminga's diagnosis wasn't as promising. The 22-year-old has missed 11 straight games due to a right ankle sprain suffered against the Memphis Grizzlies on Jan. 4. He's not expected to begin individual workouts for at least one more week and will need to be re-evaluated in two weeks before there's a clearer timeline on his return.

Through 32 games played, Kuminga averaged 16.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists.

Golden State has hardly remained afloat without the big man duo as it is 22-23 for the year, 11th in the West, and has lost three of its last four games.

The Warriors return to action on Tuesday as they host the Utah Jazz.
